Claude Code
From coding assistant to agentic coding
Claude Code is more than autocomplete. It is an agent that can read your project, make a plan, change several files, run tests and work with Git and GitHub.
On this intensive one-day course you learn to use Claude Code on real development tasks. You work hands-on in your own project and learn to set the right boundaries for the agent, use Plan Mode for multi-step tasks and automate the tasks that repeat.
Along the way we work on how you keep the overview, assess the result and review the changes Claude Code makes – with a focus on quality, security and responsible use.
What you take away from the course
You do not just learn the features of Claude Code – you learn to use it in a real development flow and to judge where it makes sense to let the agent take a bigger share of the work.
After the course you can, among other things:
- set up Claude Code with the right project context and boundaries
- use Plan Mode to structure and carry out multi-step tasks
- work with changes across files, tests and Git/GitHub workflows
- automate repetitive development tasks with routines and scripts
- review AI-generated code with an eye to quality, security and responsible use
Much of the day is hands-on, and you work on your own project. You go home with a concrete setup, automations you have tried yourself, and practical experience of when Claude Code can support a more efficient development flow – and when the work still needs the developer's own judgement and control.
